Lanes Cove House is an 1800s Victorian, quaint, cozy and comfortable. Enjoy pre-breakfast coffee in your room if you like, followed by a delicious, generous continental breakfast in the dining room or on the deck overlooking picturesque Lanes Cove in Lanesville, one of Gloucester’s most charming villages.

After breakfast walk down to explore Lanes Cove, or Halibut Point State Park, or Plum Cove, our small village beach.

Buy a delicious sandwich, salad, pastry and special coffee at our very popular local take-out pastry/coffee shop, Plum Cove Grind. You might like to take your lunch with you on your excursion or back here and enjoy it on the deck. "The Grind" is also a great place to go if you need to have breakfast before 8:00am or after 10:00am.

However you spend the rest of the day, try to return in time to watch the beautiful sunsets from the deck.
